OK ITS OFFICIAL... IM TIRED! Bayley go to sleep good last night AT ALL! Brian gave her the last bottle at 10ish last night and she wasnt even remotely sleepy. Well he was tired and I was still up with Syd so he went to bed and I ATTEMPTED to get her to sleep...HA that didnt work. I gave up about 11;15 and went to bed and decided to cuddle her to sleep...Well that didnt work...at 12:30 am...I handed her to Brian and said YOUR TURN!!!!!!!!!! Man Im sleepy today!!!! When Sydney was a baby I think Brian heard her more at night than I did...well it is DEFINITELY opposite with Bay...I hear every time the child wiggles a toe! Usually she gets a little restless around 2-3am but last night was all night long. O well... She had a good day at Gails. She ate good. We shopped some tonight. We went to Goodys and Cindi came and shopped with us. We were checking out and the lady asked Cindi if Bayley was hers! Cindi LOVED every minute of it! lol Its the eyes that makes Bay look like Cindi's baby. lol

Ok another blast from the past....One year ago today wasnt a great day. I got up and took Syd to school like normal then I headed to Brookwood where Brian met me. We went straight to the ultrasound department where Diane did our ultrasound and told us after looking for a long time that we had no heartbeat. I dont have to tell you how upset I was considering we had lost a baby 3 years earlier. Diane took us straight back to see Dr. Stradtman. Dr. Stradtman told us that she was really sorry....BUT that she didnt want to do anything too quick. She told us that she wanted us to wait until Tuesday of the following week (Monday was Xmas) to come back and we would do another repeat ultrasound and confirm things and then schedule a D&C. Ok remember I used to work for Dr. Stradtman...well she told us a story then of when she was early pregnant with Skipper (her lil boy). They did an ultrasound and had a heartbeat, then she started feeling not so great and a few days later they did another ultrasound and had no heartbeat...but they decided to wait a few days to repeat the ultrasound and sure enough Skipper had a good heartbeat. So she told us that she learned never to act too quickly.... Smart Smart woman!!! Keep in mind.... We had to go home and pretend nothing was wrong because no one knew! This explains Brian's balding head and my massive wrinkles!

ok now to present day. Bayley had a good day yesterday. She was with Gail. I got off work a few minutes early and ran around like a crazy person still doing Christmas shopping. I dont think I will ever get through! I completely expect to meet Becky in CVS Monday night about 7:30 buying stocking stuffers :) Anywayz... On the Brock update (the cat) he seemed to do great tonight. More tomorrow.

Ok I should have said on Monday...but I decided let yall in on how our Christmas really was one year ago. ONE YEAR AGO TODAY WASNT A GREAT DAY. I DIDNT FEEL GREAT ALL DAY AT WORK AND I CAME HOME AND I HAD STARTED SPOTTING. I CALLED DR. STRADTMAN AND SHE SAID TO TRY TO RELAX & COME SEE HER THE NEXT MORNING. THE SPOTTING CONTINUED MOST OF THE NIGHT. IT WAS A VERY LONG NIGHT. On other news, Today has been a good day. Bayley was fussy for Katie today but she really thinks it was because she was just sleepy. We started greenbeans tonight. Bayley liked them pretty good. Sydney took her last two finals...lets hope she did pretty good on her PE and Freshman Studies finals. lol I would sure think she would. Church tonight was good. It was time for Bayley to eat during class so I stayed in her class and fed her Greenbeans for the first time & also bananas & prunes..yuk. She liked it ok. Well after she ate I put her in the floor to change her diaper...after the diaper change.....BAYLEY ROLLED FROM HER BACK TO HER TUMMY FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!!! Me & Mrs. Susan were sooo excited! YAY Bayley! We came home and Bayley rolled like 5-6 more times for me & Sydney...she is definitely mobile now...She was flipping from her back to her tummy and back again. Other news, I did talk to the vet today about Brock (the cat). He has suggested a STRICT policy of TIME OUT for the kitty. Basically the first sign that he is going to act ugly to anyone...the dog included...he is to be put in a crate and put in a room alone for a few hours. My mom has our crate so it will be tomorrow before we can start it but we will begin tonight with isolation for Mr. Kitty when and if he is bad. I hope this works because Sydney ADORES that cat! Brock has acted MUCH better tonight and hasnt had any biting or hissing spells at all!!! YAY! More tomorrow

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY...Me & Brian both went to Dr. Stradtman's office for a NEW OB appointment and also for an ultrasound. We had a heartbeat!!!! I was excited and SCARED TO DEATH! They had wanted us to come on in for an ultrasound because I had lost the baby 3 years before and they wanted to get good bloodwork & go ahead and get a baseline ultrasound. On other news, Bayley had a good day. She was with Katie. She was in a sweet mood tonight. Sydney did AWESOME on her finals today and for the very first time...PASSED HER FINALS...I mean seriously her best grade on a final had been a 68.... so I am so proud to announce her 84 in Honors History and her 92 in Algebra II with Trig!!! Go SYD!!!! Sydney & Brock did better last night but we still had a little drama. Brock acted good towards her but then at one point she started to walk back into her room (which is also the room Brocks food and stuff is in) and he started hissing and acting like he was going to bite her. Syd started crying because she was scared and so upset that her baby was acting ugly. Syd ended up sleepign on the couch last night... bless her heart lets hope Brock chills out soon.

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY I FOUND OUT I WAS PREGNANT!!! WOW was I shocked! On other news, Bayley had a good day. She went to Gails and was in a good mood. Bayley has seemed to be a lil sleepy lately so she was lazy. Sydney had a lil "cat attack" tonight. Well it actually wasnt too little and it sure wasnt funny. First...Syd had on purple exercise pants that made a TON of noise when she walked. Well we all got to cutting up and she was on her hands and knees crawling to the bathroom....dont ask y...she just did! Anyway... apparently she scared the cat to death...he must have thought she was an animal because he ATTACKED her...he bit the FOOL out of her on her lower back...I honestly couldnt belive it...then as she was screaming and crying the cat continued to hiss and act like it was going to attack. Well Brian cleaned the bite really well and Syd FINALLY stopped crying and eventually Brock settled down. It was really hard on Syd because not only did it hurt something terrible...it also broke her heart because it was her baby who bit her. Poor Syd.

Today was a good day. We went to church of course and then I went and did a lil shopping... took a nap then back to church. Bayley did start banannas and seemed to like them. After church that night we went to the Courington's house for their annual party. It was lots of fun as usual! Bayley had a great time...someone with pictures of her their please forward them to me...PAM or KATIE! hint hint. lol

Today has been BUSY. Me Syd & Bay left at 10am going shopping to attempt to get some stinking xmas gifts. We got a good bit done but I am NO WHERE NEAR THROUGH. UGHHH. Bayley was good while we shopped but she acted BADDDD while we ate. Part of it was my fault because somehow I managed to leave her bib at home so that left me to feed her carrots and applesause with no bib ...and she had on the outfit in the picture above which is primarily WHITE! that was interesting. We tucked a napkin in her outfit and i used baby wipes to wipe her face off after every bite to attempt to keep it off her face...now my shirt was another thing.... I have large orange circles on it where she would wipe her face off on my shirt after each bite...thanks Bay. We were already sitting down to eat and there was no where close to buy a bib... or else I would have paid 10,000.00 for one!!! UGHHHHHH I can promise you this...that is one mistake I pray I never make again. O well...more later!

• My precious Sydney didnt put the clothes in the dryer like I asked her to so of course...I had no clean pants. I decided to wear a pair that I hardly ever wear and now I remember why...I bent over to pick something up and the zipper broke into a thousand pieces..i now have my pants DUCT TAPED SHUT....that makes going to the bathroom quite interesting! UGHHHHHHHH



• TMobile has kinda messed up on our billing lately so I called them to complain. I talked to a guy who was not so sweet. I hung up the phone and decided I was still not pleased and called them back to basically rant about the rude guy I talked to...only this time...THEY WOULDNT TALK TO ME. They said that I couldnt use the password anymore cause of a change in FCC or FCA or whatever rules... just remember I HAD JUST TALKED TO THEM!!! I nearly had a stroke...ended up having to call Brian at work and getting him to call and give me permission to check on the bill. Ok so while they have Brian on the phone, they tell him that I am about to go over on this months bill...which is a LIE!!! They told him that I only have 2 minutes left...which isnt true. I have used 573 of 1000 minutes...that is no where close to 2 minutes left...so i call them back and now Im really mad. I ask to talk to a supervisor and they tell me one will have to call me back... WELL THEY NEVER CALLED BACK...so I had to call AGAIN. I was FUMING by now. Thank goodness I got a person with a brain cell and we finally got everything straightened out...I was NOT thrilled with TMobile.



• So everyone who knows me knows I pump to feed Bay. Well I got to work...pumped at 8:30 like normal...took it to fridge put it in my bottle bag and put it on the top shelf. I went back to my office and at 10:30 I pumped again. I went to the fridge and went to dump that small bottle in the big one...AND THE BOTTLE WAS MISSING....YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT...SOMEONE STOLE MY DR. BROWN'S BOTTLE OF BREAST MILK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am telling you ... I nearly had a stroke. I immediately started crying because SERIOUSLY unless you have exclusively pumped you just dont understand how hard it is to keep up. I barely keep up with Bayleys needs as it is ...but to have a bottle STOLEN!?????? who would do that. Now keep in mind this is a combination locked breakroom. So it had to be an EMPLOYEE. I feel completely violated and just so disappointed, upset and mad as all get out. We checked everywhere, garbage cans, bathrooms, checked every inch of my office and department, it made no sense at all. To say the least...it ended up being the talk of the office...isnt that a great way to end a Friday....

On a good note, Bayley had a good day at Gails. She ate good for her... she has 1 1/2 tbsp of carrots and 1 tbsp of applesause. GO BAY. More later...and lets hope tomorrow is a better day.

Today was a good day. Got like normal and got stuff ready to feed Bay. I had just put her high chair and Sydney got up and came in the living room with my birthday present....I like to refer to it as the Ryan Sheckler Wienie Dog! Isnt that precious. For those of you who dont know I kinda collect wienie dog stuff cause you know they are the best doggies in the world! Anyway Brian got me a digital picture frame that I have already loaded up with tons of pictures. GO ME! Anyway, Bay had a good day and she had a treat! She got to eat her first vegetable tonight...CARROTS! yuck. She had quite the combo... 1 1/2 tbsp of carrots, 1 tbsp applesause, and 1 tbsp rice cereal! lol I was worried she wouldnt like the carrots and applesause so I also fixed her a little rice cereal because i know she likes that! She liked the carrots and plain applesause "ok" I dont think she was wild about the texture and she kept making a lil yucky face. and last but NOT least...MY SYDNEY MADE A 105/100 ON HER TRIG TEST!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO. GO SYD. I was SOOOOO PROUD! She didnt understand Trig to start with and worked hard to catch on so a great test score is just fantastic! And as you can see...Sydney was student of the month for 9th grade at PGHS for November! Go Syd. Ok More tomorrow.

Today was a decent day...until the ride home. Bayley was with Katie today and Katie said she did good. She seemed to be in a good mood all day. I left work and ended up getting caught behind a wreck on the interstate and it took me 57 minutes to get home. UGHHHHHHHH I hate traffic...especially on Wednesday night when Katie needs to be getting ready and we need to be doing the same. Syd started our dinner for me and I finished it up real quick, washed bottles and got Bayleys food together. We ended up basically running back out the door because it takes 30 min to feed Bay and we didnt have 30 min before church so we decided to just go early and feed her there. She ate really good for me! She sat in the chair at the table for Mrs. Susan for a few minutes. It was so cute. Anyway...to say the least...it was a crazy day!

Today was a big day. I took Sydney to work with me and then ran her to the dentist for yet more work on that stupid bridge. That poor thing is gonna HATE dentists! Anyway...Brian took Bay to the doctor to get her monthly RSV shot. Bayley weighed 12 lb 4 oz and was 24 inches long...YUP that is a 2 inches of growth in 1 month! GO BAY! She was in the 25th percentile for weight and 50th percentile for height for a 4 month old...AND GET THIS ... she is FINALLY on the charts for a six month old!!! WOOO HOOO She is in the 3rd percentile for weight and 5th percentile for height...which is WONDERFUL and right on track for what the NICU told us to shoot for! YAY BAY! She also gets to start eating 3 meals a day!!! Today is her 2nd day on applesause so she will eat it again tomorrow then on to other fruits AND VEGETABLES...big fatty gets to just keep adding stuff! We will be adding a new fruit or veggie every 3rd day! Our LITTLE baby is soon going to be a COW baby! Bring on those 3 month clothes...we are fixin to fill them out! We hope! lol Dr. Tindle didnt recommend putting her on any juice because it is just empty calories and mainly sugar so we will hold off on that. Brian picked up Syd and ran her back to school for her first Trig test this afternooon. She is NOT looking forward to that..only this week and 2 more days then she is OUT for Christmas break! Brian fed Bayley more rice cereal and applesause for lunch. He said it went "ok". lol That was his first time to spoon feed a baby in more than 13 years so Im sure that was fun! :) Bayley ate good for me that night. More later.

Bayley had a good day today! She went to Gails. She took her cereal "ok" this morning. She was in a good mood during the day. We ran to Walmart after work and got a few things...one thing we bought was APPLESAUSE!!! Baby girl started on Applesause tonight mixed with her rice cereal and SHE LOVED IT!!!!!!!! It was so cute! Sydney & Devin were at the house when I started to feed her and they came and watched her for a lil bit. Bayleys little feet were moving the hole time I fed it to her. You could tell she really liked it! She got 3 tbsp of rice cereal and 1tbsp of applesause and 40ml milk mixed together. It actually looked and smelled yummy! So if anyone wants to know what Bay has requested for xmas it is MORE APPLESAUSE!!!

Today was a busy day and as you can tell we are all tired. We did church and Bay was really good. Then we went home ate, cleaned and then took off for the Galleria. We shopped until time for church. We headed back to church and then stayed for the fellowship meal...yum. Emily if you read this I want that recipe for that Mexican Dip stuff you made it was YUMMY. Bayley didnt eat so great that night... She was sleepy and was not interested in that cereal. More later.

Today was a good day. We started out the day at the little kids Christmas Party at church. Bayley was clueless but it was fun. She got some great stuff that we have already played with her with! We left the church and headed to Billys for haircuts! I love going to the shop it is like therapy there. Bayley was really good while we were there. After Billys we took Sydney to meet Devin and we went home for a few minutes...that turned into for the night. I was going to go out shopping more but Brian immediately got the baby to sleep so it was too tempting to just crash adn take a nap so I did...2 hours...i bout didnt know how to act. I needed the shopping time but I think I needed the nap worse!

Bayley had a good day today. She was with Gail. She was in a good mood. We were lazy that night and didnt do much of anything. Bay played for a long time during a bath...that is bout it!

Wednesday nothing too exciting happened. Bayley had a good day. She was at Gails today. She was really good during church and slept most of class. SHe slept better that night too.

Bayley had a good day today. She started the day at Katies but she wasnt feeling too good so she went back to her Granny Gails house. She didnt sleep a whole lot there. After I got home we ran to Wal-Mart to get our Christmas cards done. Cindi & Hannah came to see us! Bayley looks so much like Cindi...its all in the eyes! lol It was fun to goof off with them for a little bit. We had day two on rice cereal. It was thicker today and she did a little better but still not too great. We did get a good weight on Bayley today w/only a diaper and it was 11 lb 12 oz which is about what Dr. Tindle thought it would be. I forgot to mention that we increased Bayleys bottles 2 days ago to 140 ml and she seems to be tolerating it well. More tomorrow.

I took Bay to see Dr. Tindle today. She said it is viral & basically said there is nothing else to do besides giving her 1ml of Yellow Triaminic. BUT she gave her the 1st flu shot BECAUSE BAYLEY IS SIX MONTHS OLD TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WOOOO HOOOOO We are SOOOOO excited and relieved! Six months and no MAJOR colds or illnesses…six months on nothing but breast milk…six months and growing very consistently! The nurse messed up and weighed Bay with her clothes on and she weighed 12 lb 4 oz. Dr. Tindle bout stroked out because she said NO preemies should be weighed with their clothes on because it isn’t accurate. We were already strapped in her carseat so she didn’t make us go through undressing since she will be back on Tuesday for her RSV shot. She didn’t plot her growth because she didn’t consider it valid because of the clothes. She guessed that she probably weighs upper 11 lbs or at the most 12 lbs even. Now for the exciting news…BAYLEY HAD RICE CEREAL FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME TODAY!!! She seemed to like it ok but we didn’t get very far into the bowl before she was gagging (probably 10-15 spoon fulls). I read where that is pretty common with preemies. Also she pushed every spoon full I gave her right back out of her mouth with her tongue. Im not sure if that is a preemie thing or just a baby thing and its been a few years since I have spoon fed a baby so any of you moms out there with any knowledge about this please share!!! She got 1 tbsp of rice cereal mixed with 4 tbsp of breast milk which is what the box said and what Dr. Tindle advised for the first feeding..now my next question for you recently experienced moms is how quick did you advance into thicker cereal or more cereal. Ok I think that is all the questions I have for now but I will keep you posted!

Today was a good day. Bayley seemed to feel better but we noticed her nose has been bleeding some. She will definitely go to the doctor tomorrow. Probably viral but we arent gonna take a chance that it is a sinus infection. We found a little spot on Bays gum that we think might be a tooth!!! We are so excited for her and will keep you posted on whether it ends up being a tooth or just us loosing our minds! J
