Today has been a scarey day. My blood pressure has stayed consistently in the 170's and 180's over 90's to low 100's. I was on Magnesium for most of the day & felt horrible. I am taking Aldomet 3 times a day also for my blood pressure. They did an ultrasound today on the baby to check her fluid levels. It showed that her fluid was very low at 4.6. Dr. Stradtman increased my IV fluids in hopes to increase her fluid levels. Apparently her fluid levels being low is a sign that my blood pressure is effecting her placenta. My Creatnine level was off on my blood work. Dr. Stradtman is concerned that my kidneys arent functioning the way that they are supposed to. I am having contractions every 15 minutes and the babies heart rate is decelerating after the contractions. They finally got my blood pressure to go down during the early evening. I got the second steroid shot. Please pray that things improve and that we can make more time for our baby girl to grow. We need atleast 24 more hours in order to help our baby girls changes of lung maturity.
