Bayley's first soccer game! Addi was so sweet and even remembered to use hand sanitizer! lol My 4 month old!!!

Tuesday - Bayley was with Katie and she was fussy a good bit that morning. Katie said that she was in a better mood that afternoon. Bayley had poops for Katie :) Katie is just lucky like that! Tuesday night we went to watch Addi & then Emily play soccer. It was Bayley's first time to watch soccer so of course we had to take pictures. We had a good time at the game and Addi was doing a great job. Levi sang the ABC song for us. He is growing up quick. We are all excited because Lila will be here no later than next Friday!!! YAY LILA! Emilys team won and they were very excited. We didnt get to see as much of Emilys game but we will go back and watch her another day.

Wedneday - Bayley was with Gail today. She did really good. She had poops again for Gail... she is on a roll. She was in a great mood tonight and layed on the bench at church and talked to me and kicked for a long time. I cant believe my baby is 4 months old... in some ways it has flown by and in others it seems like she has always been here. Our little girl has come a long way and is improving every single day. I think we have a future rocket scientist on our hands... brilliant like her momma! j/k More tomorow.

Monday - Bayley stayed with Aunt Jo & Uncle John A for the first time today! She had a really good day. Aunt Jo said that she seemed a little fussy during the day and seemed hungry... anyone who knows Aunt Jo knows that she believes in feeding babies a lot! lol Bayley slept really good that night.

Tuesday - Bayley was with Katie. Katie said Bay had a good day. She did say that she seemed a lil hungrier than usual to her too so we decided to increase her bottles to 110 ml. Bayley talked to Katie & Hannah a good bit with her sweet little baby noises. I need to tape them because they are so soft and she really doesnt make many noises when she is trying to talk. Bayley slept pretty good again.

Wednesday-Bayley was with Katie again. She had a good day. Nothing too exciting. Bayley wasnt especially thrilled during church that night. She didnt seem to feel great but nothing too bad. She slept ok that night.

Thusday - Bayley was with Aunt Jo again. She had a good day & was a very good girl for Aunt Jo. Thursday night was WILD as Bayley made sure i had little to no sleep. I have no clue what was up with her but she didnt sleep good at all. We got about 3 hours of sleep instead of our usual 6-7 hours...ugh i dont miss those days.

Friday - Bayley had a really good day at Aunt Jo's house. Friday Night Sydney went to Devin's house so Me Brian & Bayley went to Wal-Mart to get my oil changed. It has been a long time since we went to Walmart together...Brian doesnt exactly like to shop even at Wal-Mart. After a big night of shopping at Walmart :) we had our exciting WEIGH NIGHT yay. Our little fatty is up to 9 lb 6 oz which is a 3 ounce gain this week.

Saturday - We had a fun day. We got up and cleaned a little then got ready & off we went. We started at Betty Ponder's picking out Syd's pageant dress. It is super pretty of course. Then we went to the Galleria and shopped. I was in Gymboree finding Bayley's new Wienie dog shirt when I ran into a fellow blogger...it was really neat meeting the Woodalls. lol After the Galleria we went to eat and then to Hobby Lobby & Babies R Us... Well Bayley was DONE by the time we got to Babies R Us. I ran into Amy Morgan in Babies R Us... that was neat. I have only met her I think once but I work with her mother-in-law and Amy is the mother to the "famous" Morgan twins that I constantly refer to. I have definitely gotten a lot of premie advice from Amy through Terri. We headed home after Babies R Us and Bayley was very glad to be home! lol

Sunday - Sunday morning was hectic getting us all ready and getting food ready for the fellowship meal. Apparently I was distracted because I walked out and left the bottle on the counter so I had to turn around and head home to get it. The food was good at the fellowship meal. I took a very good nap Sunday afternoon. Sydney is working on painting Bayley's Letters for her wall. Syd is doing a great job and it is going to be super cute!

Monday - Today has been a good day. Bayley was at Gail's today and she slept alot. She has been lazy tonight too so who knows if she will sleep tonight. I talked to BCBS today and confirmed that Bayley has been approved for her RSV shots. Bayley gets her first RSV shot on next Tuesday. I am ready for the day to get here as I am getting more and more anxious about Bayley getting sick. I was given some good informtion on RSV today. I included this little bit about RSV to explain just one reasy why im so crazy about antibacterial and handwashing... lol
Respiratory syncytial virus (sin-SISH-shul VI-rus) (RSV) is a very common virus. Usually, RSV causes mild cold-like symptoms, such as a runny nose and fever, in adults and children. But premature babies or those with lung or heart problems have a high risk of getting very sick if they catch RSV. This is because premature babies do not have fully developed lungs. Also, because they were born early, they may not have received enough virus-fighting substances from their mothers that help them fight off RSV and other viruses.
Each year, an estimated 125,000 babies in the United States are hospitalized with severe RSV infections. In some cases severe RSV infections cause up to 500 childhood deaths annually. RSV may also be associated with more long-term health problems, such as asthma.
RSV season usually starts in the fall and runs through the spring. Here are some ways that you can help prevent the spread of RSV:
Wash your hands before touching your baby and ask others to do the same. Keep your baby away from crowds, especially young children. Keep your baby away from people with colds.
Wash your baby’s toys and bedding often. Do not expose your baby to tobacco smoke because it may increase the risk of serious RSV disease.

That is probably too much information but I figured if you are bothering to read this far into the blog you had to be a dedicated reader and would humor my obsessiveness! LOL Im actually trying to get myself ready for RSV season and handling Bayley in public. I want Bayley to be loved on and I want her to be a social baby but I also want her to be VERY healthy and RSV free. So feel free to hold and love on Bayley all you want just make this anxious mommy happy and use antibacterial first! lol More soon.

Friday was a good day. I went to the TNT sale with Terri from work. It was great and I got Bay several neat things! (Thanks for going Terri.) Bay was in a pretty good mood. Bay went with me to Kims house for Jessicas party. It was so much fun *Thanks Kim). It was so nice relaxing with the girls and letting Bayley get passed around getting some much deserved love (thanks antibacterial!!) I think I had forgotten how much fun girl time is! lol

Saturday was a pretty good for the most part. Bayley slept pretty good. Me & Syd cleaned and did laundry then she headed off to Devin's house and Me & Bay went to Cindi's to see her and went messing around a lil bit. I was gonna go to Walmart But Bay decided she had shopped enough...she was VERY vocal letting me know this. She was pretty fussy Saturday night but once she gave up and went to sleep she slept pretty good.

Today was ok. Church of course. .. Then we went to the river to see Mother & Daddy. That was fun and Bay had fun napping with Papa. I think Papa napped more than Bay did. By the way... GREAT NEWS...DADDY IS FINALLY RETIRING!!! October 13th is his last day on the bread route! He is going to relax for a few well deserved months then he needs to get a knee replacement and eventually he will hunt a job somewhere to get out of the house but atleast it wont be those horrible hours and the stress of running that bread route! I think it will end up being like retirement for both Mother & Daddy & I am so glad that they are going to finally get some well deserved rest and relaxation! This afternoon Bayley got fussy and she pretty much stayed that way on and off during the evening. Tonight we had our Lads to Leaders kick off at church...It is hard to believe it is that time again! This year will be exciting...I cant wait to see what Bayley's speech will be about!! (j/k of course) More tomorrow.

Wednesday was a pretty good day. Bayley had a good day at Katies. She slept a lot during the day but Katie said she also smiled a lot at Hannah. Bayley smiled real big for Rachel G at church Wednesday Night. Everyone was impressed with her head holding up abilities. lol

Today was another good day. Nothing too exciting. Bayley pooped a BIG diaper for me tonight. yay for poops. It was bathtime afterwards and then WEIGH TIME!!! We look forward to Thursdays to see how big Bay has gotten..... DRUM ROLL ....... 9 lbs 3 oz!!!! What a fatty!!! It is amazing that Bay has actually decreased the amount she is eating and yet is still gaining weight steadily. I am still consistently pumping away and she is taking 100 ml but now she is not eating every 3 hr she sometimes waits 4-5 hours inbetween bottles. Gods plan is amazing.

Me & Syd worked in Bays room a lot tonight. We got a lot of stuff put up and I think maybe after this weekend it will be ready to decorate. Im going to the TNT babysale tomorrow. Im excited. More later.

First off I have just about given up on the idea of a daily update...work is killin that for me! But I will try to update better than I did this week... Anyways...here is the recap! Friday Bay was with Gail and she had a good day. She had poops...yay Bay! She is still taking 100 ml. By the way I forgot to say that Brian weighed Bay Thursday Night and she weighed 8 lb 13 oz!!! My little fatty. Bay didnt have a good night Friday Night/Sat Morning... she got up at 11:30 to eat and didnt go back to sleep until 2 then got back up at 4. It was Brians night so I got the recap :)

Saturday was a good day .... except I felt bad with my goofy cold and had no voice at all. YUK. But regardless I had promised Syd we would shop so we did. Me Syd & Bay had a good day shopping away. We left around 11:30 and had to be back by 5 to go to Beckys bday party. Syd had a great time spending her bday money. Bay enjoyed the trip and was really good. No poops on Saturday.

Sunday was a day of tears. lol Bay was pretty good that morning during church then she got a lil fussy that afternoon. We decided to run to WalMart and Watermark to get a few things and Bay didnt like that plan...she fussed the whole time which isnt like her. She let us know her extreme displeasure that night at church when she fussed the whole service again. She just wasnt a happy camper. No poops Sunday.

Monday was a Monday. Im not quite into the swing of working and getting everything done yet so I feel a lil rushed/crazed. lol Bay had a good day. She had poops yay bay! The exciting news was actually last night Monday Night/Tuesday Morning. She took her bottle at 11:30 and was back sleepin by 12:15 or so and she slept until 4:30 and she started fussin...all I did was pick her up and cuddle her with me and she slept until 6:15 ... YUPPPP 6:15 I was GIDDY!!! YAY BAY!!!

Today was an ok day. Bay started out the day in a really good mood. She had poops for Katie today. She got fussy this afternoon and continued to be fussy all night. She wasnt horrible but she just wasnt in a great mood. We are just loving on her a lil extra and hoping her mood improves... :) More next time!

Wednesday was an up and down day. Bayley did good at Katie's and had poops for her!!! Katie brings out the best in Bayley lol j/k Katie! We went to church that night and wow for those of you who werent there or happen to be deaf...Bayley screamed the entire time that classes were going on. It was like she knew when they started and wow she wasnt happy. Her tummy made a lot of wierd noises while she was taking her bottle right as church started and obviously from all the screaming her tummy hurt bad. She seemed to get a little better when we got home.

Today was ok. No major changes in Bayley. She seemed to do ok and feel ok. She has slept a lot today which probably isnt good for me because that means she probably wont sleep good tonight. lucky me. I still have this stinking cold... GRRR it is getting old. O well

PS - Update on Dillon Morgan. He went through the surgery great & had no complications. They were able to correct his trache issue and think things are gonna be great. He came home from the hospital today & was very happy to be away from the people who kept touching him. lol

Now time for another prayer request. I think NICU babies will always pull at my heart & we have a baby & family who need constant prayers. The little one is Kathryn Ellis and she was born weighing only 14 oz, 11 inches long at 24 weeks (I think that is right). She is now 51 days old. She is at Brookwood with our fabulous NICU doctors taking care of her. Terri that I work with goes to church with this family and has been keeping me posted on her. Please add this sweet little girl & her family to your prayer list. Thanks so much!

Monday Tuesday

Monday was an ok day for Bayley. No poops. Nothing too exciting at all...which is good news. I had a really bad sore throat and yet another cold. It stinks not being able to take cold medicine.

Today was a better day. My throat didnt hurt nearly as bad today. Bayley pooped a BIG diaper for Katie...yay Katie! lol j/k but we are excited to have poop! Nothing really exciting has gone on...More soon.

PS- Prayers are needed fo Dillon Morgan. He is the grandson of Terri that I work with and the boy of the premie twins that I always talk about. He is having another surgery tomorrow to correct the way his trache closed. The surgery is at 10am so keep him and his family in your prayers. The twins are 18 months now...walkin & talkin & doing really great so hopefully this last surgery will leave Mr. Dillon happy & healthy. More tomorow.

Friday was a wonderful day...because it was the last day of work ..or atleast for this week anyway. The work day was normal. Friday night was good. Syd went to the game 35 to 0 win.. go Spartans. We hung out at home and played with Bay. She was in a good mood.
Saturday was BUSY. We woke up and did laundry then headed over to Burlington to look at baby beds... after looking and talking about our options we decided that it would be better to fix Syds bed and let Bay use it..which was fine by me! We looked around at all the baby stuff...wow there is a lot of junk out there. We bought several things that we needed with our gift card (thanks Momma & Daddy) We got her mattress, a changing table mat & cover, her mobile which is so cute & something else but I dont even remember what. We ran home and then it was time for Kims shower. Lila got so many cute things! Paula would have been proud of the party. Everything was so nice & the food was YUMMY! After the shower we went shopping for a curtain for Syds room. I think we found something that will work but Im not sure if I love it yet...we have it hanging up to see if it grows on me. We worked in Bays room all night and really didnt accomplish much. We did get her bed put together but the rest of the room is basically a disaster but it will get done somehow. Bay felt good all day by the way. Syd was on her bed playing with Bay & Bayley followed Sydney with her eyes. She was watching her and Syd started moving around in the room while talking to her to see if she would follow her and syd did. That is a good sign! Go Bay!

Today was crazy again. Things got off to a hectic start but Bayley looked precious in her little dress which of coure was my Daddys dress! Before church started...Bayley smiled..not a reflex but she was watching me and I was talking to her and she smiled a real smile. She only did it one other time and I cant get her to repeat it but I was thrilled because that is one of her milestones she needs to meet!!! Go Bayley! After church I cooked and we took a nap then we got ready and went to Ashville Road to a singing. We had fun before the singing at Milos with the group. Alex was hysterical & spilt tea on hisself twice..you had to be there but believe me we were rolling. The singing was good. Bayley felt good again today. She is a lil fussy tonight. I dont mention poop as much mainly because Im not with her as much & I cant post every day so I forget by the time I post. Bay hasnt pooped since Friday & I think it is starting to get to her cause she is fussin up a storm right now. Anyway more next time I have 2 seconds.

This will be as quick as possible so forgive me I will try to do better as I get in a routine.

Monday was a good day. We didnt do anything exciting at all. I basically layed around and held Bay all day. She was really fussy that morning but she finally settled down around 3ish. No poops and that is probably why she was so fussy.

Tuesday was the bad bad day ... BACK TO WORK. Things went ok I guess. Bay stayed with Gail and she did fine. She was awake most of the day (no poops). I have never been so thrilled to get off work in my life. I just cooked something quick and spent most of the night holding and rocking Bay & getting stuff ready for Wednesday...YUK.

Wednesday was Bayley's first day with Katie. She did great. Hannah is so cute and was facinated with Bayley. Bayley had a big poop for Katie....I guess she broke her in right! We all went to church wed night and that was good. It feels funny to all actually go together again. lol

Today Bayley was back with Gail. She did good but slept most of the day which means she probably wont sleep great tonight but maybe she will. She was probably tired because she missed her mommy so much :) Today was exciting at work...they have me a suprise baby shower at lunch! It was so sweet. I got a ton of stuff for Bay!!! I will have to post a picture of my cake (Julie took the pics so I will have to get them from her.) It had a girl turtle on it with angel wings!!! It was precious and so stinking good...Edgars cake is always YUMMY. Tonight was fun because we all went through the stuff. She got the lil piggy slippers from the picture above and we couldnt resist trying them on her! Man they are cute. One of the many exciting things we got was a digital scale! I am happy to report that Bayley is up to 8 lb 9 oz which is right on target with what the NICU told us should happen. She is actually only taking 100 ml of milk each feeding which is down from 110 ml but obviously she is still gaining...lil piggy! Sydney is still doing great in school. Her lowest grade is a 93 IN PE!!! Only my child would have a 93 because she cant remember to take her PE tshirt to school. More tomorow or the next time I have 10 spare minutes.

Our Family Today was an exciting day! My day started bright and early at 5:45 when Sunshine woke up. Believe it or not I started after I fed her getting us all ready for church ... WOW I forgot how much work it takes to get a little one ready. Bayley did great at church. She slept straight through Sunday school and most of church. She woke up at the end because she was hungry and I quickly figured out that she will not tolerate cold milk lol. Bayley seemed to feel good all day. She did good again tonight at church. Go Bayley!! More tomorrow.

Ok this is gonna be as quick as possible because it is 12:45 am and I have to actually be awake tomorrow.

Thursday - WE LEFT THE HOUSE AND WENT PLACES OTHER THAN THE DOCTORS OFFICE. It was fun. We went to see Mother at her office and let her show Bay off. Then we went to Brians office. It was fun to see everyone there. Then we went to eat at Ted's Montana Grill it was YUMMY. Bayley did really good while we were there. Then we went to Cindi's office to see her. Bayley was getting tired and SO WAS I lol. So when we left there we headed home. Bayley felt pretty good all day and no poops.

Friday - We got up and went to See my Daddy at Food World. It was fun to suprise him. Then we went to my office...UGHHH I dont wanna go back to work. I dread it so bad. I love the people that I work with and I like my job but I nearly cried while I was there..I just dont wanna miss out on anything wiht Bayley. After that we went and bought syd Birthday presents. YAY. Bayley did great again on Friday. She had a little poops but she seems to be feeling a little better. Im hoping that medicine is relaxing her tummy and maybe it will help her.

Today is Sydney's 14th Birthday!!! It is so hard to believe she is 14. It is going by so quick. She had a great day today. We gave her our gifts today and she loved them. I tried to take a serious picture of her...but u see what I got...She is a goof. I am very proud of her and she is a great girl. Happy Birthday Baby Girl... Bayley had another good day. She had BIG poops and didnt cry as much as she had been so YAY. She enjoyed being out again today. Her eyes were HUGE in Walmart. lol She definitely liked the lights. I have been running around tonight like a crazy person trying to get stuff ready...BECAUSE BAYLEY GOES TO CHURCH TOMORROW FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME!!! Stay tuned for pictures.

Tuesday Wednesday

Tuesday was a decent day. Nothing exciting at all. I enjoyed a nice long nap with Bay & that was good. Bayley had poops finally. That is always a positive and a negative thing. Bless her heart.

Today was traumatizing for Bayley but ok in the big picture. We got up and went to the doctor at 9. Bayley weighs 8 lb 1 oz and is 20 inches long. She finally made the chart on her weight but not her height. She is in the 10th percentile on her weight which is better than nothing. Dr. Tindle checked the stricture (OUCH) but the good news is she shouldnt have to check it again...it was better and she said taht now it is like a small newborn so it definitely ruptured on her last check. We talked for a long time about possibilities regarding her tummy issues and she decided to try her on Levsin which is an antispasmatic drug. Dr. Tindle says that it sound like she is having major stomach cramps from her tummy being premature. She said that hopefully this will relax her tummy and bowels and allow things to flow better w/out causing Bayley so much pain. We are also gonna put her on Karo Syrup 1tsp once a day to try to keep her stools thinned out while we are trying the Levsin so maybe it will work better. She checked her belly button ad said it is no better. She was anemic which makes no sense because she is already on iron but she increased the amount and we will try that. Bayley got the oral Rototek vaccine and 4 shots. She is NOT a happy camper. She is pitiful and cries out while she is sleeping and if she is awake she is fussing and crying. Im giving her Tylenol every 4 hours but so far it hasnt helped a bunch. O well we will hope tomorrow is a better day. I will try to post pics in a lil bit but so far girlfriend isnt in a phototaking mood lol.
